Executive & Board of Directors (HEO ‘AAA’ Hockey League)

Mike Ostrom

Mike has been a referee for 22 years holding multiple executive positions such as Referee-in-Chief (DB), Director of Supervision (DB), Assignor (DB and Central) and now going on his third year of Referee-in-Chief at the AAA level.

This year he will be overseeing all AAA hockey from U12 to U18. Mike also has coaching experience with the Ottawa Sting and Ottawa West Golden Knights, being a head coach as high as the U15 AA level. He uses these past experiences to help when developing officials through the Hockey Canada Path.×

Claudia Tondreau

Claudia started volunteering in minor hockey in 2004 in Alymer, Quebec with the Dodge Cup and from there never looked back. She started the tradition with the Oromocto Hockey Association of getting all the teams participating to bring food for the hockey families at the annual tournament, which is still being done today.

Claudia since then has been on the Eastern Ontario Cobras AA and Eastern Ontario Wild AAA board of directors, until 2014 where she joined the OEMHL AAA (now known as HEO 'AAA' Hockey League), as Vice-President, Finance.

Claudia has four wonderful children, who all played hockey, and three were goaltenders.×

Stephen Larkin

Stephen Larkin, who was a Director-at-Large last year, will serve as the U12/U13 AAA Convenor in 2023-24.

A lawyer by training, Stephen has been involved in competitive hockey for a number of years - as a player, referee, coach and parent.  His son played AAA a few years back, and his daughter continues to play on Carleton's Women's Team.  He continues to be non-parent coach and will referee from time to time.×
