U12 Eastern Ontario Wild Champions at the Oakville Winterfest Tournament
Congratulations to the U12 Eastern Ontario Wild for becoming champions at the 2023 Oakville Winterfest Tournament!
After winning the Bell Capital Cup a few weeks ago, the Eastern Ontario Wild U12 team travelled to Oakville where they played some of the top teams in the province. The Wild went undefeated throughout the tournament with a 5-0-1 record taking home the U12AAA Championship at the Oakville Rangers Winter Classic.
The Wild beat the hometown Oakville Rangers 1 in overtime of the semi-finals by a score of 2-1 and then went on to beat the Toronto Young Nationals 2-1 in overtime of the finals to capture their second tournament win in a row!
